Erin & Keith Wedding - Fort Gibraltar

Erin and Keith’s wedding day was a perfect blend of classic romance and playful fun, with Fort Gibraltar serving as the stunning backdrop for their celebration. As a Winnipeg wedding photographer, capturing their special moments was a true delight, and their choice of locations made the day uniquely memorable.

The day began with a First Look at The Forks, a picturesque spot in downtown Winnipeg that provided a beautiful setting for Erin and Keith to share their first glimpse of each other in their wedding attire. The Forks grounds were lively with activity, and we took advantage of the vibrant atmosphere for some wonderful bridal party and newlywed photos. One of the highlights was our stop at the temporary Forever Bicycles art installation. This striking piece of public art added a contemporary and fun twist to their photos, creating a memorable and unique element to their wedding album.

Following the First Look and some playful shots around The Forks, we headed to Fort Gibraltar for the main event. The ceremony was held inside the historic venue’s main entrance, surrounded by close friends and family. The rustic charm of Fort Gibraltar, combined with its rich history, provided a warm and inviting setting for Erin and Keith’s vows. The intimate ceremony was a beautiful moment, underscoring the love and commitment these two share.

After the ceremony, the fun continued with axe throwing and lawn games, adding a playful touch to the day’s celebrations. Erin and Keith enjoyed these activities with their guests, and we took the opportunity to capture some candid and joyful moments. These interactions, full of laughter and camaraderie, highlighted the relaxed and happy atmosphere of the day.

We also took some time to capture Erin and Keith in more intimate settings around Fort Gibraltar. The venue’s historic architecture and scenic spots offered the perfect backdrop for these romantic photos. As the evening progressed, we transitioned to capturing heartfelt speeches and the lively reception. The night photos, with the venue’s warm lighting and the gentle night breeze, added a magical touch to their wedding memories.

Throughout the day, Erin looked stunning in her David’s Bridal gown, while the bridesmaids, dressed in beautiful creations from Stella’s Bridal, complemented her perfectly. Keith and his groomsmen, in suits from Tip Top Tailors and Le Chateau, looked sharp and dashing. The hair and makeup by Urban Crush Salon ensured that everyone looked their best. The day’s sweet ending was marked by a delicious cake from Cocoabeans Bakeshop and music from Summer Bounce Entertainment, setting the tone for a lively and joyous celebration.

Erin and Keith’s wedding at Fort Gibraltar was a perfect blend of elegance and fun. From the intimate First Look at The Forks to the playful moments with axe throwing and lawn games, their day was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. As a Winnipeg wedding photographer, it was an honor to capture their beautiful day and the special moments that made it truly one-of-a-kind.
