We had the pleasure of capturing Cassandra and Josh’s stunning elopement at Birds Hill Park, a day that was beautifully featured in Wedding Bells Magazine. Their wedding was a perfect blend of intimacy, romance, and natural beauty, highlighting why Birds Hill Park is an ideal location for a Manitoba elopement.

The day started with a heartwarming twist: Cassandra and Josh chose to get ready together in the luxurious Fort Garry Hotel Suite. Surrounded by close family and with hair and makeup in full swing, the suite was buzzing with excitement. Once dressed, the couple and their loved ones set out to explore the vibrant downtown Winnipeg. The late morning light and the city's charming architecture provided a spectacular backdrop for their photos. We took full advantage of the city’s colorful and dynamic scenery, capturing the essence of their love with every shot.

After their downtown adventure, we headed to Birds Hill Provincial Park for the main event. Despite the rainy afternoon, the weather added a magical touch to their intimate elopement ceremony. Cassandra and Josh exchanged vows in front of just ten close friends and family, making the ceremony feel incredibly personal and special. The beautifully decorated arch and exquisite florals by The Floral Fixx complemented the serene surroundings of the park, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere.

The campsite at Birds Hill Park, surrounded by lush greenery, provided a picturesque setting for their vows. The rain-soaked environment only enhanced the romance of the day, adding a unique and intimate element to their ceremony.

Following the ceremony, Cassandra and Josh enjoyed a small, elegant dinner at the Inn at the Forks. We continued the celebration with some creative photography, capturing the couple in the evening light at Upper Fort Garry. We incorporated colored smoke bombs and off-camera flash to add a touch of drama and whimsy to their images.

Cassandra looked absolutely radiant in her Pearl and Birch gown, while Josh was equally impressive in his Eph Apparel suit. The floral arrangements by The Floral Fixx added a perfect touch of elegance and color to the day, enhancing the overall aesthetic of their wedding.
