Faye-Rae & Aaron Wedding - Inn At The Forks

Faye-Rae and Aaron's wedding was truly one of a kind, showcasing the resilience and creativity that love inspires, even in the face of unexpected challenges. With a code orange safety protocol in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic, they had just a few days to rearrange their wedding plans. The province of Manitoba had imposed a strict 10-person limit on social gatherings, throwing a wrench into their plans for an intimate wedding.

Despite the shock, Faye-Rae and Aaron found a way to make their day special. They decided to hold two separate ceremonies and five mini-receptions, each with no more than ten guests. The first ceremony was for Faye-Rae's side of the family, where her brother officiated the marriage. Thanks to Golden Hour Creative Agency, the entire event was live-streamed, allowing loved ones who couldn't be there in person to still share in the moment.

The second ceremony was just as unique and meaningful. This time, Aaron's sister officiated a traditional Jewish ceremony for his side of the family, honoring his heritage. Following the ceremonies, the couple hosted five separate receptions, each lasting 45 minutes. They welcomed different groups of friends and family to enjoy appetizers and drinks, making sure everyone could safely celebrate their union.

As a Winnipeg wedding photographer, capturing these moments at Inn at the Forks was an incredible experience. After the receptions, we took Faye-Rae and Aaron around the Forks grounds for some beautiful fall photos. The evening rain started just as we began our second set of photos, but this couple embraced it. Their ability to roll with whatever was thrown their way made for some stunning flash photography, capturing their joy and love in the most authentic way.

From the intimate ceremonies to the creative receptions, every part of Faye-Rae and Aaron's wedding was a testament to their love, resilience, and the support of their family and friends. It was a day full of emotion, tradition, and beautiful moments that I was honored to capture.
