We are Cheryl & Joel, an award-winning husband and wife Winnipeg wedding photography team. We've photographed hundreds of couples over the past 15 years across Winnipeg and Manitoba.. We love what we do so much we probably care more about your wedding photos than even you do. Even after all these years our absolute favourite thing to do together is photograph other couples.
We’ve shot at almost every venue Manitoba has to offer from The Manitoba Club, Hawthorn Estates, The Zoo, The White Poplar, The Canadian Museum for Human Rights Building to breweries, restaurants, backyards and every golf course and hotel that Winnipeg has to offer. You might think after all of this we might be tired of it but we still fall in love with every wedding day we get to be involved in.
In 2021 we introduced hybrid photography into our workflow meaning if you want a short and sweet Video of your Wedding, we can do that too.
Weddings are our jam, however we have a lot of experience in Family, Newborn, Maternity, Commercial, Branding and Event Photography too, in fact it's how we got our start.

Over 15+ years we've had the privilege of photographing weddings at some of Manitoba's most beautiful venues. From the grandeur of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and the elegance of the Fort Garry Hotel, to the rustic charm of Pineridge Hollow, Hawthorn Estates, and White Poplar — we've shot it all. The Manitoba Club, Inn at the Forks, Assiniboine Park, Birds Hill Park, The Gates on Roblin, Breezy Bend, Bridges Golf Course, Starlit Point, Whitetail Meadow, Ashgrove Acres, The Leaf, The Qualico Centre, and dozens more. Every venue has its own light, its own challenges, and its own magic — and we love figuring out all three.
We celebrate every kind of love. Queer, lesbian, gay, and LGBTQI2+ weddings are always welcome here. We've had the joy of photographing traditional Indian, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh, and Filipino weddings, and everything beautifully in between.
Beyond weddings, we also do family photos, maternity sessions, newborn photography, professional headshots, event coverage, and commercial branding — though if you're planning a wedding in Winnipeg or anywhere in Manitoba, that's where our hearts truly are.
