Lindsay & Joseph Wedding - Breezy Bend

Lindsay and Joseph's Winnipeg wedding was set for early spring, but an unexpected April snowstorm tried to throw a wrench in their plans. However, this resilient couple and their out-of-town guests weren’t going to let a little snow stop them from celebrating.

Joseph, a dedicated farmer from Saskatchewan, and Lindsay, a talented orthodontist from Winnipeg, had envisioned a beautiful ceremony at Charleswood United Church. With the weather making outdoor photos challenging, we quickly adapted by heading to May 11th Studio for the first look and bridal party photos. The studio provided the perfect backdrop, allowing us to capture the couple’s love and excitement before the ceremony.

Lindsay looked stunning in her gown from David’s Bridal, while Joseph was sharp and stylish in his suit from Moore’s. The entire bridal party looked picture-perfect, thanks to the flawless hair by Lineage House and makeup by The A'esthetic. Once everyone was ready, we made our way to the church for their heartfelt ceremony.

After the vows were exchanged, the newlyweds and their bridal party braved the snowy roads to Breezy Bend Country Club for the reception. The team at Harlow Events had transformed the space into a winter wonderland, complete with elegant decor that perfectly complemented the snowy backdrop. Despite the storm, the sun made a timely appearance in the mid-afternoon, casting a golden glow that allowed us to capture some breathtaking photos just outside the country club.

As the evening unfolded, the reception was filled with emotional speeches, laughter, and love. Lindsay and Joseph shared their first dance surrounded by family and friends, marking the start of their journey together. The warmth and joy of the day were palpable, making it a truly magical experience for everyone involved.

As wedding photographers in Winnipeg, we know that every wedding has its own story, and Lindsay and Joseph’s day was a perfect reminder of that. Despite the unexpected weather, their love shone through, and we were honored to be there to capture it all. It was a fantastic start to the 2023 wedding season, and we can’t wait to see what other beautiful moments the year will bring.
