Netanis & Joe Love Story - Birds Hill Park
Netanis and Joe’s engagement photo session at Birds Hill Park was an absolute delight, showcasing their warmth and love in a truly unique setting. As a Winnipeg wedding photographer, I always cherish the opportunity to work with couples who bring their own special touch to their photos, and Netanis and Joe were no exception.
The day started with us heading to the open field near East Beach Road, where we were greeted by the crisp autumn air and a wide expanse of scenery. Unfortunately, the main gate was closed for the season, which meant we had to get creative with our surroundings along the highway. Despite the strong winds, which made it a bit challenging, we managed to capture some beautiful shots of the couple’s affection and the natural beauty around them.
One of the highlights of the session was when we ventured off to a secret little trail nestled in the tall trees. This secluded spot provided a serene backdrop away from the bustling highway, allowing us to focus on Netanis and Joe’s connection. The quiet setting was perfect for capturing their genuine interactions and the love they share.
Joe’s thoughtful gesture of recreating their proposal moment added a special touch to the session. He got down on one knee, just as he had during their initial proposal at a family gathering. This sweet reenactment was not only a beautiful tribute to their journey together but also a moment that allowed us to capture their love in a meaningful way.
Throughout the session, Netanis and Joe’s shy but kind nature shone through, and it was heartwarming to see them open up and share their laughter with us. Their engagement photos reflect not just their love for each other but also their ability to find joy and connection even in the face of unexpected challenges.
As we wrapped up the session, I couldn’t help but feel excited about their upcoming wedding. If their engagement photos are any indication, their wedding day will be filled with even more love, laughter, and beautiful moments. I’m looking forward to capturing their big day and continuing to document their journey as a couple.
