Jessica and Scott's wedding was a beautiful celebration filled with love, laughter, and a touch of rain that added a unique charm to their day. The day began with Jessica and Scott getting ready at separate locations, surrounded by their wedding parties. Scott made his way to Jessica’s getting-ready spot for their first look, which was a truly emotional moment. Seeing each other for the first time dressed in their wedding attire created an unforgettable atmosphere that set the tone for the day.
After their first look, we took the wedding party and family to the picturesque Trappist Monastery Provincial Heritage Park. This site is a hidden gem in Winnipeg, featuring old ruins and stunning architecture that provide a perfect backdrop for wedding photos. Despite the rain starting to fall, we embraced the challenge and captured some incredible portraits around the ruins. The mix of the beautiful stone walls, greenery, and raindrops added a magical touch to their photos, proving that even rainy weather can enhance the aesthetic of a wedding day.
The Trappist Monastery Provincial Heritage Park is an excellent location for wedding photos, offering a variety of scenes to explore. From hidden gardens to grand arches, it’s easy to find unique spots for memorable pictures. Even with the rain, we worked creatively to find sheltered areas and angles that allowed us to capture the love and joy of Jessica and Scott, along with their families and friends.
Once we finished the portraits, we made our way to Novella at Collective for the ceremony and reception. This venue has a modern, chic atmosphere that complemented Jessica and Scott’s style beautifully. As we arrived, we took some time to capture the details of the ceremony and reception setup while guests began to gather.
